Micah Bozic

Founder & President

Micah Bozic is a High School Senior who attends Edina High School, the University of Minnesota Talented Mathematics Program (UMTYMP), and Stanford Online High School. Prior to founding the Drone Kitchen Project, Micah taught an Intro to IoT class to 6th-12th grade students to encourage early hands-on engineering learning. He brought the NASA HUNCH program to Minnetonka High School via the NASA Engineering Team club he founded in 9th grade (2021). In a team with two other students, Micah became a Finalist in 10th grade for building a Lunar Moon-Rover Solar Panel Dust Remover. Micah and his team presented the device to NASA HUNCH engineers and leadership at the Johnson Space Center in Houston in April 2023. Micah is skilled in C++, Java, and Python; as well as IoT work. Micah's passion lies in the intersection between Engineering and Humanitarianism.

What We Do

At The Drone Kitchen Project, we empower children and young adults of all genders and ethnicities by developing their hands-on engineering skills and STEM knowledge. Through our seminars, we teach students how to build high-quality FPV (First Person View) drones from scratch. Our workshops cover both hardware and software aspects, equipping participants with the skills needed for real-world tech applications. We also prepare HS and Middle School students for their participation in the NASA HUNCH program from their local high schools.
